| Why did you choose your board name?: | It sounds less common than Ditch Sleeper (which incidentally isn't true, but it just takes too long to explain) |
| How long have you been supporting Quins?: | Seriously for about six years |
| How did you start supporting Quins?: | Walked through the gates, bought a pint or two and started cheering (and laughing, in equal measures) |
| If you play(ed) rugby what position did/do you play?: | I was a whippet winger |
| Best ever Quins game: | So many have been great (but not for the rugby), the Shield final was good, but finally winning away in the league last season was better |
| Favourite off pitch Quins experience: | One of our away trips, probably Caerphilly, Dax or Beziers were good so too have some of the posh frock dos. I thoroughly enjoyed the Supporters' Party last year, even though I can't remember much of it! |
| What is the most ridiculous rugby related thing you have done?: | Wear those wretched trousers! |
| Favourite Ground (after The Stoop): | Any Welsh ground, Franklins Gardens is very good and that new Wasps place has potential (after all, we've never lost there) |
| Favourite Quins Player: | Anybody uglier than me .... so that only leaves three quarters of the squad! |
| Favourite Non-Quins Player: | Bill Satala. Oh sorry, miss-read the question. Thought it was favourite Quins non-player! So it&Mac226;ll have to be JW |
| Most likely to say?: | "Look at all the headstones in the West Stand", "Now reach under your seat for the lucky raffle prize", "It's a blue one...", "Oh alright then, just one more" |
| Least likely to say?: | "No, please walk in front and distract me for a seventh time this half", "I say ref, Quins were killing the ball again", "Ref, the entire Quins back row were offside again" and "Mine's a Bitter" |
| What are your non-rugby pastimes?: | Cricket (not playing any more though, back surgery etc knocked that on the head), reading and berating the government for making third world conditions acceptable on the railways |
| Favourite Film(s): | It's a wonderful life (I blubber every time), Zulu and Ordinary People |
| Favourite TV Programme(s): | Have I got News for you |
| Favourite Book(s): | The Killer Angels (about the American civil war), I've recently read both Michael Moore books (Stupid White Men and Downsize This) which were excellent and I'm currently reading another of Lyn MacDonald's first world was books, To the Last Man (I very rarely read fiction, it's mainly historical stuff for me!). Distant Voices was also truly brilliant. |
| Favourite Music: | This is the sad part ... John Denver, Elvis, Pavarotti, Carreras, The Monkeys ... it gets worse and worse |
| Favourite Food(s): | Chinese (as it's very sociable), I cook a lot of Indian food as well |
| Favourite Drinks(s): | Lager, Bacardi (in equal measures) |
| Favourite Quotation(s): | I always get it wrong, but there's a John Major quote about being quicker to praise and slower to criticise. |
| Favourite Place(s) to visit: | (Sorry about this Viks) I'm an absolute Scandofile! Since my job took me to Sweden about five years ago I've totally fallen for the place. I would heartily recommend Denmark and Norway as well. |
