Harlequins have only played Otley once before and that was also at Cross Green, although the Yorkshire side had only moved there two years before.

The date was the 24th March 1924, Quins got off to a good start in the first half with SH Townell dropping a goal for the visiting side in the first half which made the score 0-4 at half time.

But Otley took the lead in the second half when JA Hall got two tries to make it 6-4 to the home side before HV Brodie got a try and HB Style converted to give Harlequins a 9-6 victory.

So that means Harlequins have a 100% winning record over Otley (P1, W1), with HV Brodie being the top Harlequins try scorer against Otley with 1.

Let's hope the winning run continues after Saturday's match, an 81 year winning run would be quite nice, and let's hope Mr Brodie's record is broken too.
