COYSDC's resident big little kid, Joe Lindsley (aged 6) had a very special day on Saturday. The following is Joe's own story which he dictated to me. The day was even bigger for Mum (Dairylee), Dad (Rich) and Grandad who proudly watched on from the stands.
Joe's Big Day

I got up early to take Daddy and
Chris (Goodman) to the train station and then we went to McDonalds and
I had a yoghurt and some hash browns and Niamh had a yoghurt and Mummy
had hash browns and I had one pancake with syrup on.

Then I went to my walk because people
had poorly hearts but first we had a pretend and practice walk for the
telly and then we had the real walk. Most of it I was on Daddy's
shoulders and we went the wrong way and then we got there at last.

And then we went in the Saints and me
and Jamal been the mascots and the pictures are about me and Jamal
being a mascot and it was scarey but first I crashed into the flag and
then Nick Beal helped me out and he is nice.

And then we watched the Saints and
then the Saints was fun but I was still happy but the Saints lost.
COME ON YOU SAINTS
