  • ROKiT Williams Abu Dhabi Test 04:12:2019 Day Two

    The ROKiT Williams team would complete their final day of the Pirelli Abu Dhabi Test at the Yas Marinia circuit. Present were 2020 driver Nicholas Latifi joined by Roy Nissany. Both drivers would test the 2020 Pirelli tyre in what was a productive day for the team. After a long season this day would see the team complete their 2019 campaign. Now it is the preparations for the 2020 season as well as getting a well earned break during the Christmas period.

  • ROKiT Williams Abu Dhabi Test 03:12:2019 Day One

    The ROKiT Williams team would complete the first day of their post-seaspon testing at the Yas Marina Circuit. The driving duties would be split between George Russelll in the morning and newcomer Roy Nissany in the afternoon. The main focus of the day was tyre evaluations of Pirelli's new 2020 tyre as well as conducting aero assessments. Both  drivers would be able to get through the teams programme without any issues.

  • Abu Dhabi GP: Final race of 2019 for ROKiT Williams

    The ROKiT Williams Team would complete their final race of the 2019 Formula One season with results that were in line with those of the rest of the season with George Russell finishing ahead of team-mate Robert Kubica. The pair would finish in 17th and 18th after a race that initially saw Robert ahead of George having made a better start but incidents during the race would see Robert's car damaged and he would drop back from George as the final stages of the race were completed. For Robert it was his last race for the Williams Team while George will be joined by Nicholas Latifi in 2020.

  • Abu Dhabi GP: Expected qualifying result for ROKiT Williams

    The final qualifying session of the 2019 season at the Abu Dhabi GP would see the ROKiT Williams Team achieve what was an expected result with their drivers again slowest. After practice their pace was such that it was not looking promising in qualifying. George Russell would again finish ahead of team-mate Robert Kubica making it 21-0 in George's favour over Robert in the 2019 qualifying sessions. But one bit of consolation is the fact that the gap to the cars in front of them is a lot closer than expected.

  • Abu Dhabi GP:More of the same for ROKiT Williams in FP3

    The final practice session for the 2019 Abu Dhabi GP would see a very typical result for the ROKiT Williams team with both drivers slowest. Again we would see George Russell finish ahead of team-mate Robert Kubica with the gap 0.6s. Both drivers would focus on runs using just the soft tyre but it was a difficult session as it is not at the same time as the next session qualifying so it was difficult to assess their pace.

  • Abu Dhabi GP: Productive FP2 for ROKiT Williams

    The ROKiT Williams team would complete their second Friday practice session for the 2019 Abu Dhabi GP in what the team would describe as a productive session. For drivers George Russell and Robert Kubica they would again be slowest but this time it would be George who was the quicker of the pair. Both drivers would have several runs on the soft tyre prior to running a split tyre evaluation late in the session using the hard and medium tyre.

  • Abu Dhabi GP: Busy FP1 for ROKiT Williams

    The opening Friday practice session for the 2019 Abu Dhabi GP would see the ROKiT Williams Team work through their Friday programme in what was a busy session for the team. At the end it would be Robert Kubica who would finish ahead of his team-mate George Russell. There had been reports of George been ill but he was able to get out and complete the most laps of any driver in the session. The pair would finish in 18th and 20th.

  • ROKiT Williams Confirms Latifi for 2020

    ROKiT Williams Racing announced that Nicholas Latifi will complete the team’s driver line-up for 2020, partnering George Russell in next year’s FIA Formula One World Championship. Nicholas has impressed as Reserve Driver this year, conducting several tests and taking part in six FP1 sessions across the season. Claire Williams, Deputy Team Principal, commented; “I am delighted to announce that Nicholas will be stepping up to the role of Race Driver to partner George in 2020."

  • Abu Dhabi GP: ROKiT Williams Grand Prix Preview

    In the final race of the 2019 Formula One season the ROKiT Williams Team moves to the Yas Marina Circuit for the 2019 Abu Dhabi GP. The Williams Team will again take the opportunity to continue work on the 2020 FW43. For Robert Kubica this race will be his last with the Willliams Team so he is hoping to see the season out with the team by doing his best. For team-mate George Russell this track was where he won his F2 championship in 2018 so it has fond memories for him. Hopefully the team will come away with a positive result on which to end the 2019 season.

  • Brazilian GP: Mixed up race for ROKiT Williams

    The 2019 Brazilian GP would turn out to be a race dominated by two Safety Car periods that would allow the ROKiT Williams drivers the opportunity to take advantage of them. The results would see George Russell finish in 12th after having been able to under the Safety car close the gap to the cars in front and in the dying stages of the race fight with those cars around him. For Team-mate Robert Kubica his race was more of s struggle having had good pace early but would suffer a five second penalty for an unsafe release as well as struggling on the hard tyres. He would finish in 16th. Despite not really been in contention for points it was great to see the team work towards getting the best possible result.
