Barnsley will look to add to a positive week on-the-pitch when they host Stevenage this weekend.
Daniel Stendel has certainly brought the feel-good factor back to Oakwell, with wins away at Leyton Orient and at home to Blackpool over the past week getting the Reds some points on the board.
Stendel said in his pre-match presser that there were no new injuries to his side, whilst also suggesting players such as Arley Kay, who has played near enough every minute this season, could be rested.
Barnsley’s new striker Ben Hamed Toure could be on the bench this Saturday if he is given clearance to play after arriving from France.
The Ivorian has been in training this week linking up with the squad.
As for opponents Stevenage, they are winless in the league so far this campaign, with three draws and a loss.
The Boro partook in a goalless draw away at Peterborough on Tuesday and will offer a physical test against a young Reds side.
They finished in the play-offs last season and have always competed in League Onedespite having one of the smaller budgets in the division.
Last season, Barnsley beat Stevenage at Oakwell, and the Boro won the reverse fixture.
The two sides have played each other six times, with the Reds winning two and losing four.
