Hard to see anything other than a home win and a TBP for Bath, that's a very strong 23 names and they will be out to avenge the semi final.

Hopefully at least one BP for us.

Quite staggering that from our starting 23 for the semi at Bath which produced one of our if not best ever second half of rugby, we only have 10 players from that playing squad selected for tomorrow. Just 3 games ago. IMO under any measure we go into this game with a much weaker squad, and with that in mind a home victory should be expected.

I pray our defence is better this week especially from the maul and catch and drive or else Bath will have a field day.

Our only hope for points I expect will be if we can score 4 tries which we might if we run the ball rather than kick away possession. The line out will again be a challenge I fear.

I just want a reaction from the players from last week's performance.
We can score tries,we can certainly defend much better than we did last week.
We have a lot to prove and a lot to improve on.

I really don't get the Hammersley thing?
Starting full back last week and i know that he didn't have a great game but i still thought he would probably be our utility back bench option but he's not in the squad at all this week?! I do feel for him on a personal level,it feels like he's being mucked around a bit being played out of position so much nobody really knows what his actual position is?

Anyway i am hoping we can come away with one point and maybe 2 but what with the illness and the short turnaround which won't help a squad that has suffered illness, I am hopeful not expectant.
The short turnaround could well be decisive in the outcome of points gained for us.

There is an interview with Rob on Planet Rugby that says that Dweba and Norey are fit but not selected going on form?
Surely the best meaningful recent form on offer from any of our hookers was in the semi at Bath and Dweba was excellent in that second half which turned the tide at Bath and then he played virtually the whole game against Saints in the final when Norey went off injured!

Having said that i do think Louie had a great cameo last week and deserves to retain his spot on the bench this week

I cannot see how Yenz is ourcstarting hooker. He badly let the lineout down last week and puts a crimp onnour style of play. Given the 2 teams I fear a bit of retribution coming our way. Bath 42 Ex 28. TBP for us is my optimistic side

Fully expecting us to get comprehensively beaten, but I’m still putting my blinkers on and going with my usual:

Hoping for a reaction after last weekend and nice to see Wyatt back with Olly at FB.
However can’t see anything but a home win

I hate to predict this, but being realistic given the current circumstances with each team, I’m going for :

Bath 42 Chiefs 18 being the away side

I rarely predict a loss, purely out of bloody mindedness, but its hard to see a win tomorrow night.

We were so ringrusty last weekend and with a short turnaround away to a team that was well in control against quins im not even sure that we'll get a bonus point.

But more in hope than expectation, Bath 41 Chiefs 28

Cannot understand Yenz playing. Last time at Bath Zambonin was immense. This might be painful - Bath 52 Chiefs 19 I hope I am very wrong.
