A glimmer of hope?

Silence, nothing but silence. It gets to you, eats at any lingering hope you have that a club may reappear somewhere. The worry is compounded when valuable IP disappears from the internet with not even a whimper. That is where we find ourselves, nothing from the new owners since the sad loss of Jordan and the the london-irish.com site disappeared, not a single update to recognise this and let us know it's being worked on.
Then, without a word of warning the site returns (briefly) and there's news! We've partnered with a ticketing provider this provide tickets. I'll be honest, I have been quite skeptical of the likelihood of our return for a while and the first announcement in a while being a ticketing platform when we lack team, stadium, training facilities, coaches or league was less than inspiring. That is not the only news though, if you keep up with all sources of rugby news you may well have listened to a podcast with featuring the chairman of the Tier2 board who stated we have just started discussions about joining the Championship. He was keen to stress we're just at the very beginnings of these conversations, but I feel it's a positive sign. It's a brief glimmer of hope that I welcome.

There does seem to have been "some" sort of activity (e.g. initial discussions with The Championship) with a declared intent to be back in time for the 2026/27 season
but not much more.
I'm guessing (hoping?) that there are some significant activities going on in the background and that there'll be some sort of announcement soon.
