Hansen-Aaroen set to be first permanent switch of window

Manchester United's attack-minded midfielder Isak Hansen-Aaroen is on the verge of swapping the North West of England for the North of Germany - as he edges towards a permanent switch to Weder Bremen.
19-year-old Hanse-Aaroen hasn't made a senior appearance for Manchester United's first-team - but, confusingly, has registered first-class appearances for the club via the Football League Trophy, which United's academy now controversially competes in.
Reports suggest the teenager is now on the cusp of completing a permanent deadline day (February 1) switch to the Bundesliga after failing to break into first-team contention at Old Trafford.
Hansen-Aaroen may have hoped he could break into the first-team squad this season after being utilised during pre-season by Erik ten Hag - with the midfielder finding the net in a 2-0 friendly win against Leeds United in his native Norway.
The youngster did not feature during United's Football League Trophy campaign this season - but previously made four appearances in the competition, against Carlisle United, Fleetwood Town, Bolton Wanderers and Rochdale.
He has made 43 Premier League 2 appearances for United, scoring five goals - and also has seven FA Youth Cup and seven Uefa Youth League appearances to his name.

Should Hansen-Aaroen's exit be confirmed, he will be the first player to leave Old Trafford on a permanent basis during this transfer window.
However, a number of his team mates have also headed through the Old Trafford exit door on a temporary basis - including Donny van de Beek joining Eintracht Frankfurt, Jadon Sancho heading to Borussia Dortmund and Hannibal Mejbri arriving at Sevilla.
United have made no new signings - though Charlie McNeil has returned to the club after a loan spell at Stevenage Borough was cut short.
