Boost for Padula

Gino Padula could play against Swindon this weekend after a scan on the knee he injured during Saturday's game against Mansfield revealed no significant damage.

Padula nursed a knee problem for much of last week and limped off during the Mansfield game after being the victim of a crunching tackle.

But he is now able to jog and the scan results have shown there is no ligament damage, although there is some inflammation around the back of the knee that requires some treatment.

Padula is expected to train on Friday, when a decision on whether to include him against Swindon is likely to be taken.
