Ronnie kept up his remarkable record of never losing against any of his old teams as Bristol won the must win match by some distance, coming out 32 - 6 winners, their biggest winning margin of the campaign so far.
Leeds threatened briefly with a couple of try saving tackles having to be made, but Bristol kept their composure to record a win by a comfortable margin.
Sean Perry did well against his more illustrious opponent and there were more signs from David Lemi of his electric pace, but the honours must go to the forwards who grafted hard all day.
