An Edgeley Park fantasy team

A new era has dawned at EP. The Kingsley era follows those of Mallinder and PSA. KJ has commented that he is fed up with the media constantly referring to players who have left and it’s time to concentrate on those who remain. I am sure that Sale supporters will agree with him, but we also have a duty to remember those who have gone before and contributed to the development of the team and club.

With that in mind, one final look back (for this season at least) to the EP years to date may be in order. I therefore present my own personal fantasy team from the past six seasons, the qualification being that the player must have played during the EP years. As recent events have taught us, a ‘team’ is more than the sum of its parts and the best XV is not necessarily made up of the ‘best’ individuals. That being said, I reckon this team, in their collective prime, would slay all before them...
