No more luck for Bath?

The autumn tests are over and so Jason Robinson and Bryan Redpath are due to return to the Sale matchday line-up on Friday as we face Bath. It was only a few weeks ago that Bath beat us at the Rec in a disappointing match. But this is our chance to consolidate our second placing in the league.

A penalty try and a touchdown by Tom Voyce put us under in our last clash, but wins against Saracens and Wasps since then have definitely boosted the team.

Warren Spragg was blooded at fly-half in that last Bath game but he will not be returning this week - assuming Redpath starts then Nick Walshe will be at fly-half on Friday. However after the punishment of the internationals, and the resurgence of Vaughan Going, it is by no means a given that Jason and Bryan will start. Jim Mallinder said:

"I was delighted with the way the team performed on Sunday and am considering whether or not to start with Jason and Bryan or whether to use them as replacements."
