The salerugby.co.uk online Player of the Season 2002/03 is Graeme Bond! He beat Chris Jones in the poll this week, after coming out as the favourite Back last week. But the result was close, with just 8 votes between them.

Graeme Bond came to England after realising that his International career with Australia was unlikely to pick up. But Chris Jones is in quite the opposite situation as his International career is beginning to come to life - this week he was selected to play for England on Sunday 25th May against the Barbarians.

Both players will be around next season as we move to Edgeley Park with "our strongest squad ever", as Niels de Vos put it last week.
