Poor Leeds

There has hardly been enough time to take a breath after the last match but Sale now prepare to take on Leeds in our penultimate league game of the season.
This time Jim Mallinder is giving away little about the team that he will be fielding on Wednesday: whilst he says there are no "serious injuries" from Sunday's game, some players are obviously a bit beaten up and won't be fit enough to make the final cut.
So there is a 28 man squad which features all the players from Sunday's squad, plus Apollo Perelini, Scott Lines, Anthony Elliott, Vaughan Going, Phil Davies and Barry Stewart.
Leeds are currently last in the league and fighting hard to escape relegation. So they desperately need the win, but then they desperately needed wins in their last five matches and they didn't get them. The last time they won was at home against Bristol in March. It would be sad to see Leeds go down and against any other team I would be cheering them on. But since their last two games area against Sale and Gloucester, it looks very likely that they will be unlucky.
Squad: Jason Robinson, Vaughan Going, Mark Cueto, Anthony Elliott, Steve Hanley, Jos Baxendell, Mel Deane, Martin Shaw, Dan Harris, Charlie Hodgson, Bryan Redpath, Alan Dickens, Adam Black, Kevin Yates, Barry Stewart, Stuart Turner, Charl Marais, Andy Titterrell, Mark Giacheri, Iain Fullarton, Chris Jones, Scott Lines, Alex Sanderson, Richard Wilks, Stuart Pinkerton, Pete Anglesea, Apollo Perelini, Phil Davies.
Kick is 7.45pm at Heywood Road.
