SALE LOSE THEIR COOL AT MADJETSKI

Sir Jim, was furious following this game where Sale lost their normal cool and were yet again punished by the boot of the Irish. Towards the end of the first half both props Kevin Yates and Stuart Turner were sin binned leaving Sale with just thirteen men.

In a dour yet fiery defensive game it was the Irish who had the edge scoring three penalties to Sales miserable single score. Even the magic of the Basil and Charlie half back pairing could not ignite this game. Despite being down to thriteen men at the end of the first half the Sale defence held firm and they did not conceed a single score during this period.

Next week the Sharks entertain Cardiff in the Heineken Cup when Billy Whizz is sure to return to ignite the game. One thing is for certain Sale can certainly defend but they need to score too.
