Heineken Cup group

Sale have drawn Llanelli, Glasgow and Bourgoin for the group stage in our first ever Heineken Cup. Llanelli are going to be tough but wins against the other teams would see us through. For now I have a few stats and links for you to look at.

A few facts about the teams:

Llanelli:

lost to Leicester in the semi-finals of the Heineken Cup this year.

won the Welsh/Scottish league

Bourgoin:

got knocked out in the group stage of the Parker Pen Shield

finished third in their half of the French league

Glasgow:

finished 8th in the Welsh/Scottish league

were knocked out in the group stage of this year's Heineken Cup
