Relax!

Just enjoy it

The trauma of the close season is over. We have a new coach, a new identity and lots of new players. The club have held an open evening so we are now all in the picture as to what is going on so we have nothing left to anguish about...

That is until the weekend when we travel to Cornwall. Well at least we have a coach who can select the team rather than us doing it. However the squad is somewhat depleted at the moment as Geech revealed at the OE - operations were postponed whilst we were still in the play-offs and those involved are not yet recovered. The squad has been bolstered by some useful looking lads from  Leeds Met plus we have our usual crop of academy lads stepping up into the senior squad. When the likes of Smith and Beck return they will be raring to go.

So I expect a slow start to the season, picking up in a couple of months and getting into full stride around Christmas. After the last two seasons my expectations are not overly high but I will enjoy watching the rugby and, of course, I will be quite relaxed.

In Ming we trust.

Relax!

Nice tongue-in-cheek article WW - reflecting the feelings of many regular posters, I suspect.

Agreed. Not to concerned about the first couple of months with all that has happened etc

It will take that for gm to settle and assess the squad. Then we need some quality loans to push on.

Only other thing we are missing is a shirt!

Love the look of the kit though. The gilet and polo shirt look great and hopefully there will be a decent hoody!

Although I can't make alot of the games, I am looking forward to the season. I see this as New Beginnings - Part 7 or is it 8, maybe 9??!!

I'm quite relaxed, but by winning three of the first four, the guys will help me (and others) to become more relaxed!

Up the Yorkshire TYKES !

WW,

First, a genuine thank you for keeping the board running pretty much single handedly over the summer.

Second, I'm thinking of flogging these t-shirts from the back of an old Reliant Robin outside Headingley prior to the Bristol game. Do you want a cut of the profits?
