This messageboard needs a published story every 14 days in order to meet the Sportnetwork conditions of existence. Volunteers are needed to do previews/reviews/anything interesting. Put your hand up for the match/es or thoughts you'd like to put into word by posting a message below then sending it as a word doc to the email address above. We have some very articulate posters on here and lots of differing viewpoints. The more people contribute the better our messageboard will be. Thank you.

Donny away match report for me. I did the home match and it doesn't get any worse than that - surely?
This will be my third report this season (I have yet to report on a victory or anything short of dire) - come on you others; the tide has turned!
BTW the curse of Donny will be shown to be expelled.

We seem to have a shortage of previewer/reviewers for the rest of the season. Given the last result perhaps it is easy to see why.
What I would say is that, if I can do it, anyone can.
I have also observed that the "overview" of the match is much more valued than minute-by-minute detail. Credit to Phil Daly, he does the latter really well (and fast) so the review really needs to supplement his report rather than overlap it.
Rather than taking notes - which can detract from the enjoyment of the game and the banter ( North standers look it up in a dictionary) - its the feelings, good or bad that we want to read about.
There will be some good games to come full of sunshine and joy (because I am not reporting on them) that will be a pleasure to report on.
Come on then!
