Callard to be backs coach

At 11am this morning Leeds Tykes announced that Jon Callard, the former Bath coach, is joining the Tykes coaching team. Callard will be mainly responsible for the backs and for kicking strategy.

This role was previously held by Steve Bachop, who combined it with his playing duties.

Jon Callard however according to Phil Davies will be "Fulltime First Team Coach".

Hopefully Callard will be able to give the Tykes that extra "ommph" they need to get them over the try line and help turn those "should have won" games into "did win games".
