Pessimists take the lead in the predictions league

With two losses in the first three games it is not surprising that those who predicted Tigers to lose should be holding the top five places. The lead is now a three way tie after Zara failed to pick up any points from the Sale defeat.

Brummytiger, BT, Lizzie and TigerR managed to gain three points each by successfully predicting that Sale would win, and by getting close to one of the teams scores. This meant that Brummytiger and Lizzie were able to take a share of the lead with six points each in total. BT and TigerR are in joint third, but are just a point behind.

Propping up the table at the moment is Downsey, who entered for the first time this week. He proved to be very accurate with his prediction of 30 - 15, compared to the actual 29 - 16 result, the only problem being that the wrong team won!

Everyone is predicting that the Tigers will continue their undefeated home league record against Newcastle next week, so everything will depend on who can pick up bonus points for getting the scores and the margin of victory right. Based on the past three games, it definitely won't be me!
