Bath vTigers Gallery GP10-04

Week 04 of the 2010 season saw the Tigers travelling to Bath. Unusually for this fixture, at leat in my experience, the game was played in dry and sunny conditions. Umbrellas and raincoats were left at home as we headed south to visit the Recreation Ground. Here are some pictures from the match that ended in a 20-20 draw, and also marked the end of the try-drought for Leicester's 2010 campaign.

Thanks Ian, I take it that the light got too dim even for your super camera later on ?

Nope- just too dark for my standard lens. Apart from that I cannot justify the £15k for a fast lens - not that they would let me take one on the terrace; Health and Safety, and all of that.

That's why I prefer 3:00 ko's.

Why is it that we're also playing in blue?

And why is it that Bath have an advert for a cricket competition on their @#$%&?

Great action shots. Nasty injury to Geordan.

If I'd done that, I wouldn't have got the moon in.... or the tree.... but I could always clone the tree out and call it Two Balloons And The Moon.......easily done......

.......but, no, back to your question, not this time.... no close up of the blue balloon..... sorry, nor the other one.

Next time, Tiggs, I'll make sure I get close ups of all of the ballons, just for you and the other balloon freaks spotters (Sm54)

Lovely.

I really do think that, along with Welford Road, the Rec has to be one of the most picturesque places to watch rugby.
