The month of October saw the return of Geordan Murphy after recovering from his shoulder operation, and what a return.

A man of the match performance against Calvisano followed by another solid performance against Saracens in which he scored a drop-goal and a try was enough in the majority of voters eyes for him to be player of the month with 45% of the votes.
