November: Player of the month

Josh Kronfeld had a month to remember in a Tigers shirt in a run of games that saw him scoop the man of the match award practically every week. It was great to see him put his difficult year and a bit behind him and play some excellent rugby.

As expected most of you did nominate Josh but some others got a well deserved mention as well. here's what you thought:

Josh Kronfeld -

"Dynamism and courage - how nice that we have seen just a glimpse of this great player at his best." - Kevin Rush

"Finally came through for us." - ChrisC

"Totally awesome!!" - Peter Davidson

"Simply outstanding.Either he is playing for a new team or has been given his reigns by Deano?" - Andrew Adkin

"Utterly, Utterly brilliant. The only candidate this month has got to be Josh Kronfeld. No other player has worked so tirelessly at the breakdown during this difficult period. The month started with rumours of his leaving but after the last few games surely we can talk about him staying on when his contract comes up for review" - Brodie.

"Man of the Match in 3 of November's games. Wasps, Stains, Glaws." - Ginger Gill

Martin Corry -

Whether it was to prove a point to Clive Woodward or just to himself, Martin Corry has had a great spell for the Tigers during the Autumn Internationals. He has helped provide stability in a heavily depleted pack and has proved to be a utility forward in recent matches, having played most of the games out of position as Lock. - tjs10

Geordan Murphy -

"Added a much needed cutting edge before being called up by Ireland." - AthlonBotcher

Louis Deacon -

"Played very well in the games without the internationals and he has always played well for us but he often has either Jonno or BK to help him." - Razcal

Sam Vesty -

"He might be young and still have a lot to learn but his maturity on the pitch has shown through already and that there is promise in the next generation of tigers players." - Inkworm

Perry Freshwater -

"For ages and ages he never gets a start and hardly gets off the bench, but with ball in hand he's a real 'Mobile Prop'(or hooker). Maybe his 'she'll be right' laid back kiwi attitude means he doesn't get as many starts as he could but when he's on the pitch he really seems to
give 110%. Just one of the many 'supporting cast' who've showed themselves as true Tiggers while the stars are off playing with Woody" - Ro

Other players to get a mention but who are not included in this months poll are Ben Cohen and A. Blowers of Northampton who are excluded for obvious reasons and Lewis Moody whose performances in the autumn internationals were exceptional.
