Welford Road set for Munster Quarter Final

Much to most Leicester Tigers season-tickets holders delight the quarter-final will be held at Welford Road afterall, with Munster given an initial allocation of 1000 tickets.

The following is a press release from Leicester Tigers:

LEICESTER TIGERS v MUNSTER, APRIL 13 2003

Following today's normal monthly board meeting of Leicester Football Club plc, chairman Peter Tom issued the following statement regarding the forthcoming Heineken Cup quarter final.

"We can confirm that the Heineken Cup quarter final between Leicester Tigers and Munster will take place at Welford Road on Sunday April 13 at 4pm.
Our season ticket holders and members have until February 21 to apply for their tickets and they will be guaranteed priority until this deadline.
Munster will receive an initial allocation of 1,000 tickets and we will review the situation as soon as the requirements of our members and European Rugby Club Ltd become clear.
Any remaining tickets will go on general sale at the beginning of March."
