Two good teams, glad I bought a ticket... our next two away games will determine our season, missing 3/4 players Taylor Symons Johnson and Hughes and possibly Miller on bench..... dry weather good pitch lots of points

What a strong Wasps team that is. None too shabby from us too, but i think they are stronger, hopefully home advantage to swing it in our favour.

Interesting article in the Telegraph today (yes public school type paper of course Duncan!) About the thought of having a N v S game, with the dividing line being Birmingham. Similar to the state of origin in Australia. The defining factor is where the player was born, not which team they now play for. It would be an interesting exercise to draw up the best 15s north and south based on that criteria! Sadly Ive got some boys to cane this afternoon so won’t have enough time to do it!
( if anyone is puzzled by my comments have a look at the ref thread for this game!) Wasps by foolishly predict.

Wouldn't that depend upon which way you fly Mr. S? Go North far enough and you will end up down under!!
Suggestion came from Oz didn't it? Another game in a long season. And when the RFU get hold of it, bound to become the best of 3 money spinning matches!

Article was mostly about Newcastle success this season and how they fail to get recognition in the England team. With the likes of Farrell and Care etc coming from the north, I guess many top players who play their trade in the south are actually from the north originally

Two strong squads, front and back rows will be decisive but we’d better bring our “ they shall not pass “ defence rather than our “after you Claude”. That said, not kicking the ball to them in the first place would be good. Unfortunately I’ll be unable to watch. safe travels & an enjoyable day to all
