Too many want to party in the marquee

After a plea for 147 supporters to return their ticket to the club in a bid to keep the game at Welford Road Tigers have been swamped with returned tickets.

The club has received about 1000 pledges/returned tickets, and the fight is now on to get in the tent.

However, it will be the first 147 who pledged their tickets that will get that honour unless they were amongst those who specified that they really didn't want to give their ticket but would if the club needed them.

The rest of the tickets will be returned to the donators.
