I think a lot of people will remember Tim Barnwell, who suffered a life threatening injury playing on the wing for us against Bristol in the John Player Cup Final in 1983. Only prompt surgery saved his life, but he went on to make a full recovery.

20 years on and Tony Hopkins, past President is chairing a fund raising committee for the "Tim Barnwell Charity National Hospital Development Foundation" charity - you may remember buckets at the ground at the Bristol game.

They're holding a dinner as follows:
