Saracens Head Coach Wayne Shelford has enlisted the services of a new prop and scrum half as cover during October and November's autumn internationals.

Irish-born prop forward Colm Hannon, already with Sarries, will stay for at least another six weeks, according to the club's official web site. The 25 year old joins from South African side Leopards and will be covering David Flatman's position in the front row.

New to the club is scrum half Dan Kirton. London born Kirton, 25, was raised in New Zealand and joins on trial from Petone.

Meanwhile, Sarries MD Tim Lawler went on record on Tuesday to thank the supporters for the noise they generated during the Leicester Tigers game at Vicarage Road saying that the squad really appreciated it.

In other news, Saracens centre Tom Shanklin has been named in the Wales squad that will take on Romania at Wrexham's Racecourse ground on Friday night. However, Sarries' other Welsh international, lock Craig Quinnell, is omitted from Steve Hansen's party.

Saracens hit the road at the weekend and head up the M1 to Leeds to take on the high-flying Tykes. Sarries will be out to avenge last season's two defeats agaainst the Yorkshire outfit.
