END OF SEASON POLL (about time too)

Well last season now seems like a lifetime ago but as we are now going through an international break, we have to do something to keep the site alive so here, belatedly, are the results of our End of Season Poll 2024/5

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Well there was no contest! With the exception of single votes for Jamie George, Maro Itoje and Juan-Martin Gonzalez, all the votes went to TOM WILLIS. (Let’s enjoy him while we still have him)

BREAKTHROUGH PLAYER OF THE YEAR

This one was pretty cut and dried too (and interesting how things have changed already!) In 3rd place was Nathan Michelow, runner-up was Charlie Bracken but our winner by a long way was TOBIAS ELLIOTT

BEST SARACENS PERFORMANCE

In an inconsistent season where there were some brilliant performances along with some pretty dire ones, the voting was a bit closer. In equal 3rd place was the 39-24 win at home oner Northampton Saints in December 2024 and the 35-26 home win over Bristol Bears in January 2025. Runner up was the very tight 35-37 victory in October 2024 away to Bristol Bears but the winner was LEICESTER TIGERS A MARCH 2025 22-29

And finally

THE PLAYER YOU THINK WILL MAKE THE BIGGEST IMPRESSION IN 25/26

Again quite a mixture with votes for Noah Caluori, Nathan Michelow, Jack Bracken and Olamide Sodoke. Runner up was Max Malins but the winner was CHARLIE BRACKEN

Sorry it was a bit of an abbreviated Poll – we will try and do better at the end of this season

Thank you for doing this. The results are a fair summary of last season! Certainly be good to see Tobias back on the wing soon.
