How long supporting Sarries

Since early 2000

First ever Sarries game

The Samoa game at Enfield. First at VR was the imfamous Northampton Cup game with the last minute "non" drop goal.

Best ever Sarries game (Excluding 1998 cup final)

Being somewhat starved of the success of longer standing supporters, I suppose it would be the Sale home game this year.

At one of our early games, sitting next to the directors box and Mr Pienaar turning to me and saying "this ref's killing the bleddy game, man!"

How did you start supporting Sarries

By default - we wanted to see some live rugby and they were the "local" team.

Drinking, exploring pubs everywhere, playing guitar, most other sports.

My one rugby-related claim to fame is that I used to play cricket against Steve Gustard (father of Paul of Leicester/Irish) when he skippered Gosforth and Northumberland in the late 70's. I think I even stumped him once.
