Leicester Tigers have announced that their England A outside half Andy Goode is to leave the club and sign a two-year deal with Saracens.
The back-to-back European Champions have admitted defeat in trying to keep the 22 year old at Welford Road and have issued a statement saying that Goode is to join Sarries for next season and for 2003-04.
Leicester's Director of Rugby Dean Richards said of Goode "Andy has been an important part of our squad for the past four seasons, but has decided that he needs a new challenge."
Goode will join fellow new recruits Craig Quinnell and Christian Califano in a new-look squad coached by All Blacks legend Wayne Shelford.
