Sarrie called up for Twickenham date

Sarrie the Camel has been selected for the Rugby World Mascot Sevens match at Twickenham before the Zurich Championship final at the weekend.
Sarrie is part of the Crafty Cokneys side made up of mascots from the capital's clubs, captained by his old mucker Digger from London Irish. Also in the side are Sari San and Fezi San, Sarries mascots during previous seasons.
Squaring up to the Cockneys are the Rugby World All Stars taken from the other teams in the Premiership along with Brick and Lofty from the Twickenham Pack. Star player in the All Stars side is Northampton mascot Bernie who was placed in last season's Mascot Grand National and is very quick over the ground.
Sarrie told the RFU website how he felt about running out at HQ and he is wary that the opposition are capable of a little bite: "I’m just going to savour the experience of playing at Twickenham and hope I don’t get bitten or anything. I hear that Sharky can be a bit tetchy!"
Commentary on the match will be provided by Sky Sports' very own Miles Harrison and the unenviable job of merry whistle blower falls down to the experienced Ed Morrison. With a 7ft camel, several other beasts and a couple of Sumo wrestlers to contend with, Morrison has his work cut out.
A prediction of the result will be difficult, but rumour has it that the Cockneys will try to channel their play towards the posts in order to negate the threat from Bernie who should be more interested in the upright than the ball. I think the Cockneys will take it, just!
