Saracens' England and Lions back row forward Richard Hill is to have an MRI scan today on the knee he injured at London Irish on Sunday.

Hill went down clutching his left knee after trying to stop an Irish counter-attack late in the first half which led ultimately to the Exiles' opening try.

Though he joined his England team mates at a training day on Monday, Hill played no part due to the injury. Both Sarries coach Rod Kafer and his England counterpart Andy Robinson will be sweating on the outcome of the scan which will determine the precise problem and then give Hill and everyone else an idea of the length of time his rehabilitation will take.
