Bath Premiership fixtures
Here we go...
By Stuart Anderton
July 5 2013
At least the fixtures are out! A potentially tricky start away on a Friday night, followed by Leicester. We play relatively call-up-free teams during the internationals, but a juicy looking run-in with 6 home games from 9 from mid-Feb could see us with a Meehan like run in 2014. For long distance supporters, six out our first 7 games are on TV.

I was sure that I'd seen a post about next seasons fixtures list, but from a quick google and check on the Bath Offy it doesn't look like its out yet. A bit rubbish if that is the case as the first match can only be 12 weeks or so away.

No Frome Cheese Show for me again this year!!!
So what don't BT Sport find exciting about "Last Year's London Irish" v "Next Year's Bath"? in Round 4? Still, 6 out of 7 ain't bad - maybe reconsider BT option?
I would assume that that match would be re-scheduled for a 14:15 start as it's not on TV.

Tricky start - potential Friday night banana skin away at the newly promoted side, then Leicester.
Almost the worst possible draw during the internationals.
And we finish with away at Quins.
Could be better!
But looks like the away games will mostly be televised.

Just had a look through the fixtures, few bits worth noting:
RD 6 & 7 Consecutive Friday night matches home then away.
Rd 16 - Bath v Saracens - Friday 28th February@ 20:00. Clearly done again to due to chaos with the Bath Half. Great that it's already been decided. Thought the game this year had a great atmosphere.
Shame no Christmas/New Year home match. Also seems most home matches for all clubs are 3pm don't know if its universal at this point and will change as Bath's are usually 2.15

Agree with this. We have the pre-season games to get our new signings playing togrether, but I would say Falcons will fancy their chances at home.
I wonder if Houston will be match fit by then? Will he feature in the warm ups?
Good feeling about this season, but even more so for 2014/15 season. Would like to see this squad really gel.

Sorry I don't agree,Falcons are not in our class, did you watch them in the play offs.We beat them up their two seasons ago with 5 debutants I believe or four with a Academy prop playing 80 mins.
With our recruitment, world class facilities, world class coaches?a loss would make us a laughing stock against Newcastle.

Like our loss against London Welsh did.
We don't play well on away Friday night games, it's the first real game of the season, Newcastle will be up for it on their return from the wilderness.
Yes we should win on paper, but it's still a potential cock up.

Bri, respect your views and like Stuart says on paper no problem. I remember our 1st game against Wuss last season, we didn't play at all well as a collective unit despite a good pre-season. At the start of a new term, uncertainties on tactics and new players yet to play competitively together, the potential is there for a slip up.

Possibly Stu - but most AP teams fancy their chances against Bath. Mr Richards will have his crew well wound up to take on the Coach who got them the drop. (That Bath rushed to employ? Weird in my book, there were much better options available at the time, especially for Craig's resources - I guess Gold has an exceptional agent)

The fear of the Squad? From what Bri? Eh? I'm keen to learn your theory.
They'll be prepared by the same coaches as last season which I'd reckon will offer similar Muppetry.
I hope not, but I ain't seeing much other than Gold newly in thé fluffy swivel chair and Ford easing laddo into the 10 starting berth?
How do you call it?
