This really is the Pool of Death

In the run up to this week's draw, I gave my worst-case scenario. With Toulon in Tier 2 we would draw them.
From Tier three our regular nemesis Leinster. And then getting an English team in the fourth slot, denying us a nice weekend away.
I didn't think it could actually happen.
So as I watched the live draw on my PC it was with sinking heart that I saw the former Bath winger pull out disastrous ball after disastrous ball.
Oh, I know that to win you have to beat the best, but not usually in the first week of cup action!
You can't argue about a weekend in Dublin (although as the 3rd in four years we may need to get more creative with the entertainment options). And even in the depths of winter the south of France is always attractive. Then there's Coventry.
We got out of our pool last year against the odds, and with only one team likely to progress froma pool where we'll all take points off eachother, we'll have to do so again.
16/1 to win the bookies have us, with only 20 possible winners. Worth a punt?

We will just need to be the assassins dealing out the death!
