Celebrate With Us

After Friday night's well deserved testimonial for John Mallett at which a string of famous Bath names came together to "respect" this stalwart of Bath Rugby and Bath FC it got me thinking about how we should pay similar respects to other Bath favourites should we ever be asked.

Here is my list of potential methods of celebration, if you have any ideas why not list them on the Messageboard:

Stuart Barnes - anything involving good food (lots of it), fine wine (lots of it) and absolutely no exercise what so ever - pure heaven!

Jim Fallon - a field of brick walls and a rugby ball. Tuck the ball under Jim's arm and let him run in to all of the walls until his heart is content.

Jon Callard - a big party with the Mayor of Bath and the keys to the City for using his scoring skills to make all Bathonians delirious on a certain January day in Bordeaux.

Phil de Glanville - a Knights party for having the grandest (and potentially oldest) name of any player to wear the blue, black and white.

Graham Dawe - it can only be a sheep carrying contest and he'd be the winner.

Gareth Chilcott - the party would take place up his jumper, after all everything else he did in rugby involved this article of clothing.

Jack Rowell - a Bath Cup Final at Twickenham and he would have to stay in his seat, inside the stadium until the final whistle is blown - sorry Jack this is bound to be a painful experience!

David Trick - a day with Bob Monkhouse to update the speech he has been touting around the after dinner circuit for the past 10 years.

Ben Clarke - a do at a golf club, after all he's had enough clubs!

Ian Sanders - a video party celebrating and remembering the actual moment he signed for Glawster and we realised he would no longer cock up our scrummage play.

Richard Hill - making Stuart Barnes throw 200 balls in a training session with the pinpoint accuracy of Hilly (ouch!).
