Disappointing Bath Beaten In Italy

Bath managed to lose 23-29 to what used to be one of the "banker" wins, Treviso, giving themselves lots to do to qualify for the next stage of the European Cup. Whilst Premiership strugglers Northampton were beating Toulouse, Bath too turned over the form books with this loss. Very disappointing.

For some reason European Rugby still gets limited coverage on TV and the internet, though I understand Radio Bristol carried a commentary, so for those of us unable to travel to Italy or catch the local radio we have to rely on the very basic match reports from the news gathering services.

Fortunately we still have two home games ahead of us with this year's whipping boys, Bourgoin, away so there is still much to play for and we shouldn't be too quick in writing off our chances.

The only good news to come out of this afternoon is that I cleaned out my garage in readiness for the pool table!

I know this lack of a personal match report will disappoint Camilla so perhaps he/her would like to supply one instead.
