ERE Fantasy League - Week Eight

Another poor week for the teams in the Fantasy pool; Worcester did the business over Briz, Bath battled in vain, Glaws capitulated and the less said about the Saints the better! (I just hope we don't go the same way this Friday). Let's see how this has affected the Fantasy League …

 

"The Lardies" have made top climber for the 2nd week in the row (when you're at the bottom the only way is up!).  Moving in the opposite direction is "The Power of Five" managed by Gareth, now that's what I call a reverse pass!  "Champagne Rugby" are the highest scoring team this week but "Gamblers Choice" are there or thereabouts.  "Wilko's Toenail" appear to be suffering from the great man's injury crisis also with a paltry 16 points (did any of them actually turn up?).

 

Shane Drahm takes the honours as player of the week, tied on score with our own Molly but taking part in a winning performance gives him the edge.  Any number of players could have taken duffer of the week, for playing and being binned but in the end I decided to share the love and give a Glawster boy the dubious honour. Take a bow Adam Eustace.

 

With the top two scorers coming from Briz managers it's no surprise that they lead the way in the Fantasy League.  Well they've got to win something!  (... incoming ..)
