Post a link on the Messageboard

1. Open a "New Topic" to start a new message (unless of course you are adding to an existing thread in which case go to the "Reply to this message" box at the foot of the thread.

2. Click on the Add a link  (see above graphic example) in either the "New Topic" box or "Reply to this message" box in your internet browser.

3. This "[url=http://your-link.com]Your link text[/url]" should appear. You have to amend this bit of code to create your link.

4. Open a new internet browser page showing the URL you want to link to and copy the URL (eg "www.bbc.co.uk" etc).

5. Your copied URL should be pasted over the bit of your "Add a link" http://your-link.com.

6. Highlight the bit of the "Add a link" which says "Your link text" and type in whatever you want to appear in the message (eg "Delve in the Times") and that should be it.

Add an image on the Messageboard

To do this you need to either use an image already logged as an internet image, eg via Google images (remember if you do this and the original image disappears, your link will disappear as well) or one you have set up yourself by an image hosting site like photobucket. This will give you the code needed as part of this process.

3. This "[img]http://your-site.com/your_image.gif[/img]" should appear. You have to amend this bit of code to create your image.

4. Your image code (from Google or photobucket) should be copied and pasted over the "http://your-site.com/your_image.gif" between the two [img] boxes (make sure you don't delete these) and that should be it.
