ERE Fantasy League - Week Sixteen

After such a thrilling game at the weekend, where we have as much to thank Ludo Mercier for as our own Molly Malone, how can the fantasy league live up to such heights? Well it can't but for those interested here is the league table after Round 16 of the Guinness Premiership.

Luckily for some (most) teams, league points are not deducted for failing to finish near certain try!

The League table has settled down now ready for the last transfer window at the end of the six nations, and then the final run in until the end of the season.  Very little changing in the top half of the board with "Gamblers Choice" doing a 'Quins, which makes "Wherefore the Beast" the Pirates or possibly the Blues.  Because of the low scoring week "Ramblin Men" have changed places with "Kickers 'R' Us".  The only other notable change is the "Lardies" leap-frogging "Stade de Coochie", who have given the league a Gallic shrug.  At the other end of the table "Mikes's Marauders" have overtaken "Dory's Dream" (what's happened to Lil’ Blue Fish?).  

"Masa's Maulers" take the honours for team of the week and "Strinesians" make the best move up the table. Conversely, two teams managed by Wuss supporters, mirror Wuss's fortunes this week by posting a paltry score.  Luckily in this league there is no relegation (this season anyway ...).

Player of the week for Round 16 is Jason Strange who kicked Briz to a win over Sarries.  Villain of the piece is Siaosi Vaili, who got himself binned 14 minutes after being subbed on in Wuss's loss to Leeds.  Glawster fans may feel this award should go to Ludo ..
