Enrique Bernoldi continued to show promising form at Barcelona today, again setting the 2nd fastest time of the day, albeit some 2 seconds slower than fastest man Jarno Trulli. Throughout his 61 trouble free laps the A23 ran without the rear wing failures that affected last weeks test at Valencia.
In an interview for the Swiss press, Heinz-Harald Frentzen revealed the reasons for the wing failures, and it is something that the team are working on. Several sources have indicated that since the problems Technical Director Sergio Rinland has been in attendance at Barcelona possibly overseeing new components to fix the problem.
No real detail on todays test by OrangeArrows is available, but apparently Enrique Bernoldi set his fastest time on a new set of Bridgestone tyres towards the end of the session.
Arrows continue their test programme tommorow.
