British GP: ROKiT Williams again struggles in FP3

Team Summary:
On a somewhat cooler day the Saturday practice session would see very few cars come out. Both Williams drivers would come out for their first runs splitting their tyre evaluations between the medium and the soft. But both drivers would pit as rain started to fall. Leclerc and Ricciardo would take to the track but on the intermediate tyre. Both would pit after a single lap. Both Mercedes would come out on intermediate tyres joined by both Williams. Bottas would set a 1m:35.423 to be second with Kubica third. The track would empty with Albon now coming out. With thirty minutes remaining the track was now empty.

Drivers would now start to com eout on dry tyres with Hamilton out on the soft. He would be joined by other drivers on a mix of tyres with soft and medium been used. Hulkenberg would go quickest with a 1m:29.711 only to see Hamilton go quicker with a 1m:28.988. Then a 1m:27.524 from Bottas. Leclerc would move ahead with a 1m:27.446 but it was all changing with Hamilton going quickest with a 1m:26.746 followed by Leclerc and Vettel. Bottas was fourth followed by Norris, Ricciardo, Gasly, Kvyat, Raikkonen and Giovinazzi in tenth. Bottas would improve with a 1m:26.458 to go fastest with the track now very busy. Hamilton was again fastest with a 1m:26.338 with the Williams pair occupying their usual positions at the bottom of the times.

With ten minutes remaining Leclerc would go quickest with a 1m:25.905. Vettel was now second followed by Hamilton. Gasly would go fourth followed by Verstappen, Bottas, Norris, Hulkenberg, Ricciardo, and Albon tenth. After their soft tyres runs the Williams pair were slowest with George ahead of Robert but they were 1.4s behind the Racing Points cars in front. The drivers would again be allowed to complete practice starts on the grid at the end of the session.

Robert Kubica:
Ten minutes into the session and Robert would come out for a soft tyre run. But he would pit after a single lap as rain started to fall. Robert would join those running on intermediate tyres and would set a 1m:42.800 after a slow lap. He would pit after a three lap run. With twenty five minutes remaining Robert would return with the soft tyre. He would set a 1m:31.070 to be ahead of his team-mate. But Robert would improve with a 1m:30.258 to again be ahead of George. But his team-mate would go quicker with Robert responding with a 1m:29.824. Robert would complete a seven lap prior to pitting. He would return for what should be his qualifying simulation. A 1m:29.565 from Robert would see him close the gap to George. he would improve with a 1m:29.450 to be just 0.3 behind George. He would pit ending his session.

George Russell:
George would be first pout in the Saturday practice session for Williams. He would set the first time with a 1m:31.810 and would pit after a five lap run completing a practice pit stop as part of his run. George would return for just under forty minutes remaining this time on the intermediate tyre tyre for a three lap run. George would also come out for a soft tyre run. He would set a 1m:30.384 to be ahead of Robert by 0.686s. he would lower his time with a 1m:29.218 with the gap between the Williams pair now 0.6s. George would pit after a six lap run. George would follow Robert out also on new soft tyres. He would set a 1m:29.065 to remain in front of his team-mate with the end of his session.
