With twenty mi9nutes remaining in the session the order was Bottas,
Hamilton, Verstappen, Leclerc, Vettel, Grosjean, Perez, Magnussen, Stroll,
and Sainz tenth. Albon was able to improve to be eighth after a soft tyre
run. the final fifteen minutes would see drivers out on longer runs with the
medium and soft tyre been the main choices. As the final few minutes counted
down the track was very busy with just two drivers on the hard Nicholas and
Ricciardo. With the end of the session the top ten would be Bottas,
Hamilton, Verstappen, Leclerc, Vettel, Grosjean, Perez, Albon, Magnussen and
Stroll tenth. For Williams Racing the results were sort of expected with Roy
slowest but his time on the same tyre was close to his team-mate so overall
a positive performance. For Nicholas he seemed to focus on longer runs so
hard to assess his real pace. FP2 will see George return to his car.
Roy Nissany:
Roy would make his first appearance for Williams running on the soft tyre.
Roy would also come out for his timed run also using the soft tyre. Nissany
would complete a 1m:23.989 lap, five seconds off the pace but it is his
first run in the FW43. He would improve with a 1m:23.613 to be
unsurprisingly slowest. He would find a big amount of time with a 1m:21,516
to move closer to Magnussen ahead of him. Roy would also pit after a nine
lap run. With forty minutes remaining Roy was back this time on the medium
tyre. He was currently last in the times. His current time was a 1m:20.664
to be just 0.3 behind Nicholas. Roy would spin his car at Turn ten but was
able continue. He would pit and with just under fifteen minutes left in the
session he would return on the medium tyre running to just before the end of
the session.
Nichols Latifi:
Nicholas would be first out for this Friday session. he would be running on
the hard tyre. Nicholas would pit after a single lap. He would also pit
after a single lap. On his next run Nicholas would return running on the
soft tyre. Nicholas would set a 1m:21.075 to be second if only temporarily.
Nicholas would tell his engineer that underneath his butt it was quite hot,
more than he had ever felt it. Nicholas would improve with a 1m:20.368 to
currently be seventh. This wuld become ninth. With a 1m:20.334 Nicholas
would currently be 15th. He would pit after a ten lap run on the soft tyre.
As more times were set Nicholas would drop to 19th ahead of his team-mate.
With just over thirty minutes remaminging Nicholas would return this time on
the hard tyre. Nicholas would pit after a nine lap hard tyre run. Bt he
