Las Vegas GP: Williams Racing has tricky Thursday practice
By FIA
November 17 2023
After a lengthy delay due to issues with the track the Williams Racing Team would have only one ninety minute practice session on the Thursday for the 2023 Las Vegas GP. The team would work through their program and we would see Alex Albon finish 10th and Logan Sargeant 20th. In what was described as a tricky session by both drivers they felt that there was a lot of work to complete to get the best out of the FW45. But thankfully the team has a lot of data now to assist them in this process. Friday will see the normal one hour of practice before qualifying.

Dave Robson, Head of Vehicle Performance:
Both drivers showed good
pace across the compound range and were able to gather a lot of useful
data and experience. There isn’t a lot of working time between now and
FP3, but we will use what time there is to learn from today’s running
and find some more pace from the FW45. |
