Bahrain GP: Williams Racing Grand Prix Preview
By Williams Racing
April 9 2025
Coming off a series of races that saw the Atlassian Williams Racing Team secure points result such that they are now 5th in the Constructors championship, the Williams team moves onto the second race of a triple header the 2025 Bahrain GP. Both Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz are keen to see this trend continue with a further points scoring result. In pre-season testing the Williams team, via a quickest time from Carlos, was showing a competitive performance at the Bahrain circuit. Hopefully their pace continues over the Bahrain weekend.

Carlo Sainz:
"Wrapping up Japan, it’s great to see we are making good progress as a
team and that the car was at a very good level on a demanding track such
as Suzuka. On my side, despite the final result, there were many positives
to take from last week and I can’t wait to get back in the car here in
Bahrain. Coming back to the same track that we used for pre-season testing
will be very interesting, although conditions will be significantly
different as it’s going to be much hotter. I’m looking forward to hitting
the ground running and putting together a strong weekend. Let’s go for
it!"
Alex Albon:
'It's been a really strong start to the year, reaching Q3 and scoring
points in every race so far. We are looking to carry that momentum into
Bahrain, the second race of the triple header with completely different
conditions to all other races so far this year. The team has been
working hard and we’re hoping to be just as strong in race four. We’ve
made a lot of progress and it’s great to see us lead the battle for the
midfield! The first night race of the season always brings a unique
atmosphere, and I'm excited to see what we can achieve under the
lights."
