Saudi Arabian GP: Double points for Williams Racing
By Williams Racing
April 21 2025
In what was a well managed race from the Atlassian Williams Racing Team they would come away from the 2025 Saudi Arabian GP with a double points result. Carlos Sainz would finish in 8th and Alex Albon 9th. Both drivers would complete one stop strategies finishing on the hard tyre. There would be a time when there was a concern about a fast closing Hadjar on new mediums but Carlos and Alex were able to manage the situation with Alex being able to use the DRS from Carlos to keep Hadjar behind. Overall a great performance from the team and drivers, even with a slow pit stop for Carlos, as they were able to secure the points result based on the pace of the FW47 and not some misfortune from others during the race. A well deserved result which bodes well for the future.
