By Williams Racing
May 14 2025
In what is the first of a European triple header the Atlassian Williams Racing Team moves to the Imola circuit for the 2025 Emilia-Romagna GP. Coming off the successful Miami GP where the team secured a double points finish they are again hopeful of another successful weekend. Both Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon are looking forward to the event but acknowledge that it will require the team's best efforts in order to continue their points results.

Carlo Sainz:
I’m really looking forward to the European leg of the season, where we
go racing on some incredible tracks and street circuits. First up is
Imola, a historic track which always presents opportunities, and makes
Qualifying all the more important with overtaking being a challenge around
this track. As a team, we’ve learned a lot since Miami, so I’m looking
forward to building on the momentum and having a strong weekend.
Alex Albon:
Imola is a classic F1 circuit with lots of motorsport history, so it’s a
nice one to mark the start of the European season. We’ve had some really
good results so far this year and it’s great to be heading into the
European leg off the back of a very strong points finish in Miami. We
know we have to get everything perfect to continue achieving those
results, so we all need to be on our A game going into the
triple-header.
