July 31 2025
The Atlassian Williams Racing Team, coming off a successful Belgian GP weekend, moves to the Hungaroring circuit for the 2025 Hungarian GP. The team is again running their updated FW47 which given the three practice sessions the team is hoping to gain further insights into with the aim of further improving the performance of the car. Both Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz are keen on doing well in what is the final race before F1's summer break.

Carlo Sainz:
As we head to Budapest for the next round in the double-header and also
final the round before the summer break, I’m looking forward to getting
behind the wheel and testing out our new package in a normal weekend
format, with the Free Practice sessions to build up throughout. It’s
always a fun circuit to drive and the weekend is looking mostly dry, so
hopefully we can come back stronger for the final round. The team has been
working really hard all year, so it will be nice to end on a high before
everyone has some well deserved time off.
Alex Albon:
I'm looking forward to wrapping up this first half of the season in
Budapest. It's a challenging track with twisting corners and a flowing
second sector, which feels amazing when you put everything together. It
will be interesting to see how the upgrade performs in different
conditions at a tighter track, and we'll aim to take advantage of the
three Free Practice sessions to learn as much as we can. The team
has made a lot of progress so far this season and it's exciting to see
the work starting to pay off. Let's head into the summer break with some
more points in the bag!
