Italian GP: Williams Racing Grand Prix Preview

Coming from a 5th place in the 2025 Dutch GP the Atlassian Williams Racing Team moves to the famus Monza circuit for the 2025 Italian GP. For both Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon this race is one that they are looking forward to. The Monza circuit is a track that should be well suited to the FW47 so both Carlos and Alex are keen to again put in good peformances. For the team this race represents another opportunity to further secure their 5th in the championship.

Carlo Sainz:
Heading to Monza this week, I have a lot of fond memories here from my
previous years in F1, so I’m looking forward to making some new ones with
Williams and getting behind the FW47 around this incredibly fast track.
I’m very confident we’ll be bouncing back from last weekend and I’m really
looking forward to having a solid week at this amazing venue!
Alex Albon:
I’m looking forward to racing in Monza this weekend as part of the next
round of the double-header. We’re coming off a strong P5 result and
heading to another track that should suit our car, plus it’s always been
a fun track to drive. There are always tactics and games in Qualifying
at this circuit, so we will need to be on our A-game and execute
everything cleanly in order to stay ahead of our rivals. We’ll put our
full focus into doing that.
