October 1 2025

Coming from the fantastic podium result in Baku with the 3rd place from Carlos Sainz, the Atlassian Williams Racing Team moves to the city of Singapore for the night race of the 2025 Singapore GP. For the team the focus now has to shift to the demands of the Singapore street circuit. Both Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon are keen to return to the track with the aim of continuing the momentum achieved in the Azerbaijan GP. For the team again the race is one of mantaining their 5th place in the championship.

2025 Singapore GP Preview

Carlo Sainz:
Baku was a great weekend for us, it felt great to be back on the podium and we enjoyed it all together! However, Baku is now in the past and we quickly switch our focus to what’s ahead of us. Singapore is always one of the toughest races of the year, both physically and mentally, but it’s also one of the most rewarding when you get it right, and I have great memories being here. I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and to keep pushing to try to build some momentum for the remaining races of the season. Let’s go for it!

Alex Albon:
The team had a great result in Baku, so hopefully we can keep building on these results as we head into the back half of the season. I’m looking forward to racing in Singapore as it always feels like a home race for me and will be great to be back in front of the fans and racing under the lights. Singapore is a very different track to Baku; it’s a tight track and physically demanding with the heat and humidity, so acclimatising quickly and getting on pace is always a priority. Our focus will be on delivering in Qualifying and putting ourselves in the best possible position for the race.
